Contracting Agency, Fax No. 632-521- 4263; 632-525-7126. The
Coordinating Council of the Philippine Assistance Program (CCPAP),
Government of the Republic of the Philippines, seeks an exceptionally
well-qualified resident advisor to the BOT Center, the government
agency tasked to promote, coordinate and monitor the Philippine BOT
program. The advisor, who may be accompanied by his/her immediate
family, will be posted in Manila, Philippines under the host country
contract funded by the United States Agency for International
Development (USAID) for a period of two years. Estimated start of
contract is June 15, 1996. The advisor will be responsible, among
others, for assisting the BOT center in developing a sustainable
financing program for municipal BOT infrastructure projects. The
individual selected for this assignment should have at least a masters
degree in Business Administration from an accredited U.S. University.
He/she should have a minimum of fifteen years work experience in
international development banking, municipal/national public enterprise
reform, implementation of multilateral guarantee programs and
development and implementation of BOT infrastructure projects.
Preference will be given to a candidate with extensive prior work
experience in the Philippines and with considerable knowledge of the
country's public and private financial sectors. The successful
candidate will receive a salary commensurate with qualifications and
experience and, in addition, will be entitled to the following
benefits: housing, tax exempt status, educational allowances for
qualified dependents, transportation/storage allowances, and paid
