(MICOM) is continuing its series of Business/Industry Days for both
large and small businesses. The purpose of MICOM Business/Industry Days
is to provide a forum to discuss topics of mutual interest. The next
session will be for small and large business and is scheduled for 24-25
Jun 96. The sessions are planned to be held at Redstone Arsenal
Officer's Club located at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The session
will provide a forum for addressing existing industry issues, the
relationship of MICOM with industry and open exchanges with MICOM
managers and industry. Other topics of interest include Military
Specifications and Standards Transition Report, Technology Transfer
Program Successes, Small Business Overview, Acquisition Streamlining
Initiatives, Best Value Contracting and Privatization. Industry
entities responding to this announcement will be selected utilizing a
lottery approach. Attendees are encouraged to be senior industry
personnel such as CEOs, GMs, and/or Presidents of their respective
