The Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Information Systems, Automated Message Management Unit, has a requirement for Nation Paging Service with coverage in the continentall United States. Also, DEA requires Local Paging Services with coverage in an area equivalent to 150 miles radius of Washington, D.C. This requirement is estimated to be 3200 radio pagers per year. 1. capable of being effectively paged through steel and/or concrete structures; 2. possess a silent alert capability and use; 3. standard off-the-shelf batteries; 4. Select Nationwide and local area pagers must have the capability of receiving alpha-numeric message. The anticipated basic contract period is October 1, 1996 throught September 30, 1997. Four (4) one (1) year renewal options are included with this requirement. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about May 31, 1996 with a closing date on or about June 28, 1996.
