PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work is comprised of construction of a Twin Turboshaft Engine Test Cell, including demolition of existing facilities, recycling of construction debris, and the following: Earthwork which consists of grading, imported fill, removal of underground fuel tanks, and collection systems for oily wastewater. Utilities which consists of water, sewers, storm drainage, electrical power, telephone, and data communication. Construction materials which include but are not limited to cast-in-place concrete, steel framing, acoustical wall and roof panels, metal roofing and siding, sheet roofing system, metal studs and gypsum board, reinforced concrete masonary, sound reduction doors and windows, steel doors and frames, hardware, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient tile flooring, painting, refabricated engine test cells and air intakes, intake and exhaust systems, hydraulic start system and mechanical and electrical work. Asphalt concrete paving and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 360 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
