This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to renovate the first floor of the East Leanto and the first and second floors of the West Leanto. Generally, the work will be: (1) Demolish and renovate the Survival Equipment Shop in the East Leanto, including replacement of the HVAC system; (2) Demolition and renovation of shop areas on the first floor of the West Leanto; (3) Demolition and renovation of the interior of the second floor of the West Leanto which consists of administrative areas and the Photo Lab; which consists of administrative areas and the Photo Lab; (4) Renovation of the exteriors of the East and West Leanto's, including window replacement; (5) Renovation of the trench drain system to include new oil/water separators; (6) Installing of a ``wet pipe'' Automatic Sprinkler System throughout the first and second floors of the East and West Leanto's; (7) Upgrade to the Electrical System to include a new fire alarm system tied to the basewide reporting system, for the 165th Airlift Wing, Savannah International Airport, Savannah, Georgia. Estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performance period is 240 calendar days. Plans, specifications and bid documents will be available on June 18, 1996 until supplies are exhausted. There is a non-refundable fee of $30.00 required for each set of plans and specifications. All request for bid packages shall be in writing and must be accompanied by a Postal Money Order, Certified Check or Cashier's Check only, made payable to the US Treasury and sent to the above address. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Bid opening is set for July 17, 1996 at 2:00 pm (EST).
