Hannigar, Contracting Officer, (507) 272-7205 The Panama Canal Commission intends to acquire the demolition services of one Contractor to design and perform a test for demolition of concrete at the Miraflores Locks. The Panama Canal Commission wishes to replace tow track systems at the three Locks and whishes to find a methodology that will best serve this purpose. Demolition will not interfere with the Panama Canal Commission transit operation and daily movement of the towing locomotive. Contractor shall not take into consideration any operation windows because of the reality at the Gatun Locks. The Panama Canal Commission has been tasked to complete this project in five years and it is of utmost importance the development of a method to accelerate this demolition work. Delivery is 15 days, Miraflores, Republic of Panama, Miraflores Locks.
