Company (WSRC), management and operating contractor for the U.S.
Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site near Aiken, South
Carolina, is issuing this special notice to determine interest in a
technique for recovering a metal, in particular, cadmium contained in
scrap, in stable form. DOE is the assignee of Patent No. 5,404,588,
Process For Removing Cadmium From Scrap Metal. The patent may be
available for licensing by DOE in accordance with the procedures,
terms, and conditions of 37 CFR 404. Organizations interested in
