SPAIN: THERMOGRAPHS The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 96.110. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: SPAIN. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Order Regulating State Metrological Control of Thermographs Intended to Measure and Record Temperature in the Transport of Deep-Frozen Products (13 pages). 6. Description of content: Regulation of the various phases of State metrological control of thermographs: type approval, initial checking, checking after repair or modification and periodic checking. Regulation of requirements and tests in these phases. 7. Objective and rationale: To regulate State metrological control as provided for in Law 3/1985 of 18 March and RD 1616/1985 of 11 September on thermographs intended to measure and record air temperature inside enclosed spaces used for the transport of deep-frozen food. These devices are mandatory under Directive 92/1/EC, incorporated in RD 380/93. 8.
