submitting a solicitation to qualified contractors on the task areas
listed below. It is projected that the subcontract will be
incrementally funded and the period will be five years. Subcontractors
may submit offers on all or selected task areas. Multiple awards may
be made. Task areas to be included in this procurement are: 1. Assist
in the technical aspects of reactor computer code development and
performance analysis. (Task Area Ceiling $3M). 2. Assist in the
technical aspects of nuclear facility safety reviews and safety
criteria development (Task Area Ceiling $3M). 3. Assist in the
development of safety analysis and assessments for nuclear facilities
and activities (Task Area Ceiling $5M). 4. Assist in research related
to criticality, reactor, and radiation physics (Task Area Ceiling $2M).
5. Assist in the design and analysis of nuclear and non nuclear
facilities (Task Area Ceiling $3M). 6. Weapons risk assessment (Task
Area Ceiling $5M). 7. Hazard Analysis and Probabilistic Risk Assessment
(Task Area Ceiling $5M). 8. Waste Management (Task Area Ceiling $5M).
9. Environmental Restoration (Task Area Ceiling $5M). 10. Nuclear
Material Processing and Storage (Task Area Ceiling $5M). 11. Complex
Systems Simulation Development (Task Area Ceiling $5M). 12. Military
Systems Analysis and Simulation Development (Task Area Ceiling $5M).
13. Facility and Program Support (Task Area Ceiling $5M). 14.
Program/Project Management and Control (Task Area Ceiling $5M). 15.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control (Task Area Ceiling $5M). A team
consisting of University representatives may visit the contractor's
facility prior to final selection of qualified contractors. This is not
a solicitation for bids. Potential offerors desiring receipt of a
