Manning Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate the first floor of Building 4, Ward 4A and 4C of the ENRM VA Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, Massachusetts. Work consists of general construction for renovation and alterations. This includes but is not limited to asbestos abatement, removal of interior partitions, ceiling, flooring, doors, frames, finishes, cabinetry, bases, plumbing fixtures, mechanical, and electrical work along with other items of demolition and removal. Work includes construction of new partitions, doors, frames, finishes, ceilings, plumbing fixtures, piping, telephone conduit, cable TV installation, nurse call system installation, ductwork, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, HVAC units, electrical systems, and other items of general construction associated with Ambulatory Care Unit renovation. Asbestos abatement may be performed in phases. Work to be performed must be in strict accordance with drawings and specifications. The estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Issue date for this project is May 28 1996. Interested bidders must submit a request in writing accompanied by a non-refundable, certified check or money order in the amount of $50.00.
