The work includes the construction of a new drain rack facility consisting of a pre-engineered metal building complete with roll-up and personnel doors, reinforced concrete floors/foundations and mechanical ventilation, gas fired radiant heating, water, compressed air, power and lighting; steel drain rack with waste fuel/oil and antifreeze collection, piping and storage systems including drain pan troughs, air operated diaphragm pumps, day tanks and oil/water separators and piping; relocation of two 5' x 30' fuel/oil storage tanks for waste fuel/oil and antifreeze storage with air operated diaphragm pump and double containment oil piping to existing boiler oil/storage tanks and electric sump pumps with industrial waste piping to existing grit chamber/oil/water separator; site work including utility connections and piping, paving, grading, and grassing. Demolition of an existing drain rack including removal and cleaning of two 5' X 30' storage tanks and service platform, demolition of steel drain rack structure, reinforced concrete slabs, walls, footings, and piers, finish grading and grassing of demolition area. Estimated cost is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Estimated duration of the contract is 285 days for completion. This procurement is classified as unrestricted. (131)
