This project consists of reconfiguring an existing facility presently used as a combined weapons storage, munitions maintenance, and hazardous materials storage facility into a hazardous materials storage pharmacy. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to, constructing latrine and office space for facility users, renovation of existing space in separate storage areas for different chemicals, installing appropriate heating, ventilating and air conditioning system, fire protection, lighting and other necessary electrical work, plumbing to new latrine supply and sewer, exterior site work to include parking lot, construction of loading dock, and new metal canopies at two exterior entrances. The period of performance for this project shall be 140 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a firm fixed price contract.
