Work includes, but is not limited to, upgrading the shop areas (14,400 S.F.) and notching the hangar entrance doors on Hangar No. 1 to allow a KC-135 to access the hangar. Work on Hangar No. 2 includes notching on the hangar entrance doors, refurbishing the compressed air system, adding elevated safety harnesses to facilitate work on top of aircraft, installation of a 5-ton overhead monorail crane, and upgrade lighting and interior electrical fixtures in the hangar bay. This solicitation includes optional items for additional work. Critical Path Method Network Analysis System is required. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
