The device shall be designed to interface with government-owned radios. These devices will be utilized to input data which is then sent by radio in a encrypted data burst mode. The digital burst device shall not exceed 10 1b. The device shall be equipped with NSA approved encryption device. The device shall have a burst data rate of 75 baud to 2400 baud minimum. The device shall have a minimum 10,000 character memory and shall allow messages to be written and/or received and transmitted from memory by selection. The device shall have a structured menu, allowing selection of data rates, transmission of messages. The device shall be waterproof and ruggedized for field use and shall operate in extreme temperatures, hot and cold. Item 0002: Option - Additional twenty-eight (28) same as Item 0001.
