Kiely, Contract Specialist, 202/435-6940 The U.S. Secret Service has a requirement to purchase radio equipment to include Low Band, VHF, UHF, and 800 Mhz handie- talkies, mobile radios, comparators, voting receivers, key variable loaders, digital interface units, Control Center Consoles, modems, remote control consoles, key management controller equipment, pagers, base stations, repeaters, transportable trip equipment, test equipment, and their accessories, and installation. The U.S. Government approved FIPS 140-1 Data Encryption Standard (DES) voice privacy feature shall be included in this radio equipment. A firm- fixed price requirements contract for a total of 48 months is anticipated. Release of the solicitation is anticipated to be within 30 days of this notice.
