Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC), management and operating contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site near Aiken, South Carolina, is issuing this special notice to determine interest in a technique to aid in sampling groundwater from a well using a purge water management system. The DOE has filed a patent application with the Patent and Trademark Office. The patent application has been allowed and will soon issue a patent. This technology may be available for licensing by DOE in accordance with the procedures, terms, and conditions of 37 CFR 404.
