The Internal Revenue Service requires a contractor to validate an Electronic Filing Program Test Package (PATS II) for the Participants Acceptability Test Package (PATS I). This contract will consist of one base year with four option years. The year of issue will include the validation of the Participants Acceptability Test Package for the 1996 tax year. Option years will include each of the four subsequent tax years (1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000). In order to receive an award, the Offeror must have passed the Electronic Filing Suitability Tests and have been an accepted electronic filer as a software developer, preparer, and transmitter during the 1995 tax year.
