The services will be furnished to the Lower Colorado Region during the time needed to solicit and award a competitive negotiated contract containing a base and four option years. Work will consist of providing the necessary supplies, personnel, materials, services, and facilities required for a basic Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for approximately 1040 employees of the Lower Colorado Region. The contract will provide services in four distinct geographic areas within the Region (Boulder City/Las Vegas, NV; Phoenix, AZ; Temecula, CA; and Yuma, AZ). The performance period will be 120 days with four 30-day options. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in this action, (written quotations will be received; the estimated award date is July 5, 1996; and contract performance will begin on July 16, 1996). For this acquisition the standard industrial classification code is 8322 and the small business size standard is $3.5 million. The estimated issuance date of the RFQ is June 1, 1996. The estimated date for receipt of quotes is July 1, 1996. This action is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
