The Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center is interested in developing industry partnerships in response to DARPA's ``ARSENAL SHIP'' program. This is not a procurement solicitation. The Carderock Division goals for these partnerships are: 1) To participate in a program which would exploit National Assets for mutual benefit of industry and government. 2) To help ensure that the most advanced, capable, cost-effective product is available to the U.S. Navy. The Carderock Division has unique scientific and technical facilities, personnel, data bases, and expertise associated with ship hull forms, signatures, damage tolerance, structures, propulsors, mechanical and electrical systems, environmental protection, cost estimates and effectiveness, modeling and simulation, logistics, and systems integration.
