UNITED STATES - NORWEGIAN DEFENSE INDUSTRY SYMPOSIUM, ADPA PROGRAM #670 The Under-Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology announces a symposium of one and one-half days to be held at the Crystal City Marriott Hotel, Arlington, Va. on 21-22 May, 1996. The symposium, hosted by the American Defense Preparedness Association, offers two keynote presentations, by Secretary Kaminski and his Norwegian counterpart, Oivind Baekken. Following the opening, there are discussions on Norwegian Defense Procurement plans, the Norwegian industrial technology base/capability and instances of defense industry cooperation between the two countries. The highlight of the symposium is the panel discuss featuring the Undersecretary, his counterpart and industrialist of both countries. Day two of the symposium is devoted entirely to scheduled private discussions between attendee companies or to visiting exhibits provided By US companies.
