Provide labor, materials, equipment and services, and perform work necessary for the construction of the PMEC School Training Quarters for the Tennessee Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee. The new facility will consist of 3 multi-story buildings interconnected with exterior covered walkways and stairtowers. Total size of the facility is approximately 40,000 gross square feet. Construction work includes demolition, sitework including underground utility work, concrete, masonry load bearing walls, brick veneer, structural steel including steel joists, waterproofing, metal roofing, insulated built-up roofing system, sheet metal, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, aluminum frame doors and windows, glazing, window blinds, plumbing, fire protection sprinkler system, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical systems, interior and exterior painting, and architectural millwork. All of the work described above is to be accomplished within the compound of the Tennessee Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson Airport, Knoxville, Tennessee. Performance time is 365 calendar days. Plans and specifications will be available on or about June 14, 1996. A non-refundable certified check or money order is required for plans and specifications in the amount of $109.00 made payable to the Treasurer of the United States. The solicitation will be furnished at no cost. Plans and specifications will also be available for review at various plans houses within the state.
