BZDUSEK, (513)366-2003 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services for a Contractor to construct the Mixed Waste Wing Addition (Phase 2) at the U.S. EPA, National Air and Radiation Environmental Laboratory (NAREL), Montgomery, Alabama. The project consists of constructing the Metals Lab, Semi-Volatile Lab, Volatile Lab, Small Office Area, Restrooms and enclosed Corridor. The total gross square footage is approximately 4,000. The construction is to enclose and add to an existing covered vehicle parking area. The project includes selective demolition, earthwork, concrete, unit masonary, structural steel, cold formed metal framing, external insulation and finishing system (EIFS), metal roofing, windows, doors, interior finishes, laboratory casework, HVAC systems, plumbing, laboratory gas systems, electrical power and lighting systems and control systems. The project is estimated in the $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 range. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be ready for issuance around the 24th of June with a bid opening around the 24th of July. THIS IS NOT A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
