BZDUSEK, (513)366-2003 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services for a Contractor to remove and close two existing underground storage tanks at the Environmental Research Laboratory, Sabine Island, Gulf Breeze, Florida. The project consists of the removal and closure of two existing underground 4,000 gal. steel fuel storage tanks. One tank is to be completely removed from the ground and the remaining tank is to be retired in place. Both tanks shall be replaced with a 2,000 gal., concrete vaulted, double-walled steel tank, along with all the necessary appurtenances as called for in the plans ands specifications. The Project is estimated in the $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 range. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be ready for issuance around the 24th of June with a bid opening around the 24th of July.
