The project consists of renovating two floors of the hangar lean to, to include new electrical heating and air conditioning, partitions, wall and floor finishes, fire rated roll up doors, kitchen related equipment and covered entrances. Also, included is a new pre-engineering mezzanine structure, with class rooms which attaches to the renovated structure. In the opposite lean to provide new restrooms replacing existing offices, work includes new plumbing and associated items. Another aspect is providing new roll up doors for the hangar doors. The project has lead and asbestos which requires removal. One job, Project YTPM 94-0072. Bid issue on or about 29 July 1996. Bid opening on or about 28 August 1996. Performance period will be 210 calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. This acquisition is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification Code) applicable to this project is 1542. The small business size standard applicable to this construction project is a concern, including its affiliates, with average annual receipts from its preceding three years not exceeding $17.0 million.
