Destination, U.S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL), Hanover, New Hampshire, One 115 (+/-5)-Ton High-Stage Ammonia Refrigeration Compressor (RC3) similar or equal to Freezing Equipment Sales (FES) Model 16S. The compressor must be rated at 115 Ton using an equivalent suction of 10 degrees F SST and a condensing temperature of 95 degrees F SDT. The compressor will be factory assembled on a steel frame and include a 200 HP, Premiumefficiency 460/3/60 Electric Motor, Direct-Coupled to the Compressor, Oil-Separator Motor, Wye-Delta Close Transition Starter, 3 HP Oil Pump with starter, and Micro-Processor with control language compatible with FES Micro II control language. Contract is to include Furnishing and Installation of a water-Cooled Shell-And-Tube Heat Exchanger which is required to keep the Glycol below 98 Degrees F. The contractor will supply the heat exchanger, motorized valves for the glycol and water supply, and the necessary structural support and mechanical components to install the heat exchanger. The contractor will restore the insulation where it was removed, as well as insulate the new piping. The proposed contract listed here is a 100% small business set-aside.
