The SPARC CPU-5CE implements the capabilities of the Sun Microsystems SPARCstation 5 workstation on a single slot VME busboard. The sustained processing power of 64 SPECin92 and 54.6 SPECfp92 combined with a full set of I/O functions including fast SCSI, Ethernet, floppy disk, serial I/O, Centronics parallel I/ O, and keyboard/mouse ports; positions the SPARC CPU-5CE as a solution for demanding embedded applications. The SPARC CPU-5CE is a single board computer combining workstation performance and functionality with the ruggedness and expandability of an industry standard single slot 6U VMEbus board. The peripheral items are also unique to the FORCE SPARC CPU-5CE because of different connections required for the VME board. (0136)
