The Government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis with Hewlett Packard, Hardware Maintenance for a Hewlett Packard/Convex Exemplar SPP-XA/1000 SN65541. Statement of Work includes: Contractor will provide repairs/field support and routine preventive maintenance on-site to listed equipment. All required replacement parts and labor will be included in purchased maintenance. On-call repairs/field support will be provided within 24 hours of initial call unless otherwise arranged with point of contact. Technical support will be available by telephone twenty-four hours a day, 7 days a week. Routine maintenance and on-site upgrade installation will be scheduled with the point of contact. Provided maintenance to listed equipment will include maintenance and support on installed thirty-two processors, eight gigabytes of RAM, forty 4-gigabyte disks, a DAT tape drive, a FDDI network connection, and an ATM network connection. Any on-site maintenance or field engineering personnel must have or be eligible to receive a SECRET clearance and NRaD badge. Personnel without a SECRET clearance and badge at time of contract award must obtain one within one month of award. Personnel hired during the term of contract will have a month from hiring to receive their badge. Location: NRaD, Seaside, Building 606, Room 339.
