R -- CADASTRAL SURVEYS SOL RFP R9-9-96-19 DUE 062896 POC MN Shared Service Contracting Unit, 218-720-5336 The project consists of professional services to conduct Cadastral Surveys. Services are within the Chippewa National Forest located in North Central Minnesota. Work to be performed to Forest Service standards, which are divided among various project locations, include: corner searches, monumentation or maintenance and geodetic coordinate establishment; boundary line surveyed and marked, or maintained; to prepare and record the appropriate Corner Certificates and Certificates of Survey. To be considered, submit an SF-254 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire), an SF-255 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project), and a minimum of 4 exhibits (Corner Certificates and Certificates of Survey) which demonstrate the work of the principal surveyor identified to do the work. The following factors will be evaluated in a descending order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence of the proposed personnel in the type of work required; (3) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (4) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (5) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with the performance schedules; (6) The volume of work previously awarded by the Forest Service will be evaluated with the objective of effecting an equitable distribution of the contracts among qualified A & E firms, including minority, 8(a), or small disadvantaged firms that have not had prior Forest Service contracts; (7) Additional points may be assigned or credit given to potential contrctors that are or will subcontract with certified 8(a) or other small disadvantaged businesses.All data, including SF-254 and SF-255, must be submitted by June 28, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. local time, to the address below, in order to be considered for these projects. More than one contract will be awarded as a result of this request. All projects will begin in 1996 and will have varying completion dates from 120 to 180 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
