R -- SEISMIC ENGINEERING REVIEW SERVICES SOL w31ryo-6131-7417 POC CONTRACT SPECIALIST, KATHY WALLACE, 205-895-1166 (Site Code DACA87) The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, intends to make a sole source award to Ralph Strom, Portland, Oregon for seismic engineering review services. These services will span the next year and will consist of reviewing several draft technical documents pertaining to seismic analysis and vulnerability assessments, the finalization of seismic criteria documents, and performing a seismic analysis of an existing structure. The focus of these services is to complete the seismic projects which had previously involved Mr. Strom. This is not a formal solicitation. The synopsis of intent to make a sole source award is not a request for quotes. Contractors who can provide the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center with the above services are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response which includes, as a minimum, the proposed credentials and qualifications, any applicable pricing data, and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis, and all such responses will be considered by the agency. If no written responses are received within 15 calendar days, a sole source award will be issued.
