Griffith, (703) 696-3843 ext. 112 The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) requires a contractor to provide lodging, meals and conference room facilities for the ''DoDEA School Improvement Planning III'' to be held during the period of June 24 through 28, 1996 in the Northern Virginia Washington Metropolitan area within easy access to Dulles and National Airports. The session will require 190 single occupancy motel/hotel rooms on June 23 (1 night), 200 single occupancy motel/hotel rooms from June 24 through June 27 (4 nights). Breakfast and lunch meal plans for 200 will be required for June 24 through June 26 and June 28. Breakfast, lunch and dinner meal plans for 200 will be required for June 27. Conference room facilities are required from 8:30 am through 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. On Friday, June 28, conference room facilities will be required from 8:30 am through 3:00 pm. One large conference room that will accommodate 200 participants is required. The large conference room must be set up with round tables which will accommodate 8 people per table. Four large break-out rooms to accommodate 65 people per room, round tables that will seat 6 people each are also required. Three smaller break-out rooms to accommodate 45 people per room, tables do not have to be round. A small room to be used for administrative needs, this room must be able to be secured for overnight storage purposes. A copier shall be provided that is capable of producing high volume copies. Each conference room must be equiped with a screen projector, flip charts or white boards, VCR, and an overhead projector. The large conference room must be equipped with a podium, microphone and a VCR. Interested parties must respond in writing to this announcement. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
