Work under this project consists of the construction of a preengineered, preformed steeel roof structure covering 8,400 square feet (70 feet wide by 120 feet long) of water, and a polyproplene floating cover (approximately 20,000 square feet). The work includes, but is not limited to site work, excavation, forming and placing a concrete caisson foundation, reinforced concrete walls, and installation of steel support beams and purlins. The project site is located at the Ennis National Fish Hatchery near Ennis, Montana. The contract period of performance will be 120 calendar days from the contractor's receipt of the notice to proceed, which will be issued on or about August 1, 1996. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation will be available on or about June 5, 1996. This project is open to both large and small businesses.
