The project is a comprehensive renovation of the concert hall auditorium, public lobbies and corridors. Work includes reconfiguration of auditorium aisles and exits, replacement of auditorium seating, reconfiguration of existing chandeliers, new architectural hardware and finishes, additions to existing sprinklers systems, replacement of stage platform and substructure, installation of an acoustic canopy and resonant chambers at the stage, replacement of air movement devices and updated control systems for the HVAC, systems, and new lighting systems. The Government intends to issue this draft RFP which consists of drawings and specifications approximately 75% complete. Estimated cost of the proposed renovation is between $5,000,00.00 and $10,000,000.00. Issuance o/a 22 May 1996; comments due NLT 14 June 1996. No proposals are being solicited at this time. (0136)
