Pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (i) and FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to negotiate a contract with Paraflite, 5800 Magnolia Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 07109 for nine each MC-5 nylon mil 2-2-5625, harness type, part number 8102000X-SYS, 29 components, color green/gray, parachutes. Paraflite is the only known designer, developer, and sole producer of the MC-5 parachutes and as such, the solicitation will be issued on a sole source basis only to Paraflite. No other type of parachute will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may request a solicitation package. All proposals meeting the solicitation requirements will be considered. RFP will be available approximately fifteen days from the date of appearance in this publication. No telephone requests. Only written requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
