In accordance with FAR 5.206, this synopsis publicizes subcontract opportunities for a Medium-Class Explorer (MIDEX) Spacecraft to support the Imager for Magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration (IMAGE) Investigation to be performed by Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) under NASA/GSFC Contract NAS5-96020. SwRI wants to find interested and capable offerors for this procurement, and invites interested firms to submit detailed information describing capabilities, experience, past performance and qualifications. This is not a Request for Proposal and should not be construed as a commitment by either the Government or SwRI.
