circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 96.116. 1.

Gas cylinders covered by Optional Directives 84/525/EEC, 84/526/EEC and
84/527/EEC but not constructed and/or accepted in conformity with these
optional directives. 5. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the
notified document: Ministerial Order Granting a General Derogation from
the Provisions of paragraph 2.2.1 of Annex I and paragraph 4 of Annexes
I, II and III of the Royal Order of 12 June 1989 Implementing the
Directives of the Council of the European Communities Relating to
Seamless Steel Gas Cylinders, Seamless Unalloyed Aluminium and
Aluminium Alloy Gas Cylinders and Welded Unalloyed Steel Gas Cylinders.
6. Description of content: The purpose of the Order is to allow the
marketing of gas cylinders which do not comply with certain provisions
of the Royal Order of 12 June 1989. 7. Objective and rationale: This
Order is intended to repeal the Derogation Order of 18 October 1992 on
the same subject and to replace it with similar provisions
supplemented by a mutual recognition clause for gas cylinders lawfully
manufactured and/or commercialized in another member State. 8.

seamless steel gas cylinders, seamless unalloyed aluminium and
aluminium alloy gas cylinders and welded unalloyed steel gas cylinders.
