Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: Upgrade the existing Eielson Water Treatment Facility from 1.875 Million Gallons per day to 2.0 MGD. Construction entails a new building to house the greensand filters, minor renovation of the existing facility. Work includes the replacement of existing pumps and valves, enlargement of the clearwell, conversion of the operation to a manganese greensand pressure filtration process. The project includes all required supporting utilities. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services.
