Z -- REPLACE ROOFS IN HOUSING AREA #21 AND 22, PIERCE VILLAGE SOL DAKF23-96-B-0065 DUE 071396 POC Contract Specialist Learah Smith (502) 798-7822 (Site Code DAKF23) The work includes, but it is not limited to, removal of existing shingles; removal of existing underlayment; removal of existing metal drip edge trim (as found); removal of existing composition roofing materials (as found); removal of existing flashing materials; removal of existing gutters, downspouts, rain water diverters and splashblocks; cutting and removal of existing sheathing as necessary for a new ridge vent system; and including legal disposal of all demolished materials. The work also consists of new underlayment, new waterproofing membrane, where noted; new metal drip edge trim, new flashing materials (including appropriate, watertight interface with re-use of flashing materials left in place); new three (3) tab inorganic roofing shingles; appropriate preparation of existing deck; continuous roof ridge ventilators; exhaust fan rain caps; vent pipe flashings; and other miscellaneous items as needed for a complete watertight finished project. The period of performance is 120 calendar days. Forth coming contract will be firm-fixed price. The estimated range for this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, SIC 1761, for this acquisition, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7 million.
