THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; BIDS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. CSP-80877-NJ-29 is issued as an invitation to bid (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. Provide unit price and extended amount for each of the following items: ITEM 1., DESCRIPTION: Grating, size: 1 inch with 1/8 inch cover plate epoxy bonded and pinned to grating. Cover plate shall have a non skid grit surface; Grating structure shall be of a fire retardant polyester meeting requirements of Class 1 rating 25 or less as per ASTM E-84 and meeting self extinguish requirement of ASTM D-635; color: gray or yellow. Assemble in panels of 48 inches x 36 inches; grating shall withstand a uniform load of 100 PSF with maximum deformation of 0.25 inches, QUANTITY: 300 EACH, UNIT PRICE:--, EXTENDED AMOUNT:--; ITEM 2., DESCRIPTION: Angle, firberglass equal, size: 4 inches x 3/8 inch, in 20 foot length, made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), as defined by ASTM D3918-80; manufactured by Pultrusion process of an isophthalic polyester with flame retardant additive to be used as a structural section for construction. Tensile Modulus: 2,500,000 PSI, QUANTITY: 40 EACH, UNIT PRICE:--, EXTENDED AMOUNT:--, TOTAL CUBIC MEASUREMENTS:--Cubic Feet. Failure to furnish total cubic measurements may render your bid nonresponsive. The bidder shall submit as part of its bid ''descriptive literature.'' The ''descriptive literature'' will be evaluated to determine whether the product offered meets the salient characteristics requirements and establishes exactly what the bidder proposes to furnish. Failure to submit the required ''descriptive literature'' shall render the bid nonresposive. Delivery terms shall be as follows: F.O.B. This differential is the equivalent of $155.00 per measurement ton of 40 cubic feet (MTON) from Jefferson, LA to Panama. This is an average freight factor which includes the cost of ocean freight, stevedoring and handling fees, and the cost of inland freight and insurance in Panama.
