Langrehr, (410) 642-1048 Provide Architect Engineer Services for a fully developed Investigative-Preliminary Design and Working Drawings and Specifications to replace filters/repair basins at the VA Medical Center, Perry Point, Maryland. (Design work will include but is not limited to mechanical, electrical and plumbing, with a firm construction cost estimate). Scope of work will include replace filters, de sludge settling basins and clear well, repair walls, install filter valves with actuators, and tie-into existing computer system, increase size of basin drain line, replace chemical feed equipment, replace flash mixer, install valves, install spare clear well pump and other items necessary to up-grade existing water filter in building 22. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 120-mile radius of Perry Point (Perryville), Maryland. Interested firms must submit an updated SF 254 and SF 255 to the Contracting Officer (90C, VA Medical Center, P.O. Box 1000, Perry Point, Maryland 21902, no later than close of business (4:30 p.m. local time) on June 25, 1996 (see note number 24). This is not a request for proposal.
