L -- P-3C ACCELERATED SERVICE LIFE ASSESSMENT PROGRAM POC Contact, Lori Redding, Phone (703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a firm fixed-price order for the pre-testing phase of the P-3C Accelerated Service Life Assessment Program (ASLAP) under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-95-G-0208 with Lockheed Martin Aircraft Company, Marietta, Georgia. The aforementioned order will cover the pre-testing phase of the ASLAP which will establish the baseline for the test aircraft and includes selection of fatigue critical locations for analysis and development of a finite element model. This order is intended to be awarded to Lockheed Martin since the OEM is the only firm that possesses the stress and structural analyses and loads data necessary to perform the required effort. No other source could obtain or develop the necessary technical knowledge and data in a timely manner to satisfy program requirements. See note No. 22 - NAVAIR Synopsis No. 30087-96. (0138)
