The size standard is $17 million. This project is for the improvement to the BOQ Building (O'Bannon Hall) at the MCCDC located in Quantico, Va. The work includes the renovation of a 3 story masonry building which will be occupied during the construction. The work also includes replacement of HVAC, upgrade of plumbing and electrical, replacement of interior doors, new bathrooms, laundry facilities and offices, and incidental related work. It is the Government's intention to have the contractor furnish a Chiller, as manufactured by Trane and a Central DDC System as manufactured by Landis and Gyre. The overall project schedule shall be completed in phases. Contractors within the local ara are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at Bldg. 212, first floor, Plans Room of the Washington Navy Yard. The hours of operation are 7:30-3:00, Monday thru Friday. There will be a charge of $180.00 for the documents. Please note that the plans/specs will be issued on a ''first-come, first-serve'' basis. NOTE: Bids are to be marked and submitted to Building 212, first floor, PLANS ROOM. The projected date of issuance of plans and specs is 04 June 1996.
