Provide all services, labor, materials and equipment to correct HVAC deficiencies in Bldg. 39, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Battle Creek, Michigan. Work will include heating, ventilating and air conditioning of three floors with 5 airhandling units located in the attic and all related work including, but not limited to, asbestos insulation removal, chiller unit and pump, and ceilings with lights. The Government estimate is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The standard classification code is 1711, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. Solicitation will be issued on or before June 10, 1996. Bid opening is scheduled on July 10, 1996, 2:00 p.m., local time. A $100 deposit for each solicitation package is required. The deposit must be in the form of certified check, cashiers check, or money order payable to the Deprtment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Refund will be made upon the return of bid documents in good condition, without marks, notes or mutilatioins, within 20 calendar days after bid date. All deposits must clearly identify company name and address. This is a total labor surplus area set aside. Note #3 applies. All requests must be in writing.
