Z -- HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICE SOL DTCGG1-96-8463SGWKU DUE 071596 POC Ms. Mattie Walker, Contract Specialist; 401-736-1766 Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for services from 9/1/96 through 9/30/97 to perform emergency repairs on a 4,160 volt (5KV) electrical system and components. The annual scope of work is based on estimate of one 300' replacement of 3-#500 MCM conductors; replacement of 9 terminations or cableheads; replacement of 27 damaged splices; and 10 services calls for overloads or load shedding. The emergency work shall include: providing repair of 5 KV system conductors; providing replacement of 5 KV fuse links and cartridges; resetting and switching of 5 KV breakers and switches to restore power and shed loads; providing emergency portable power to buildings experiencing power loss; providing replacement and repair of splices and terminations; and provide all testing required to maintain and evaluate the 5 KV electrical system.
