Acquisition of all Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) services, production of equipment (hardware), shelter integration, installation services, spares and fielding/support required to convert up to seventeen (17) existing AN-TTC-39A Circuit Switches into an improved, downsized version called the Single Shelter Switch (SSS) over a four year period (base year and 3 option years). A sole source acquisition with GTE Government Systems Corporation, Taunton, MA in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1) is proposed since the government does not own the full technical documentation and data rights for the switching technologies required for the SSS. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. (0141)
