66 -- EXTERNAL MODULATION SOURCES SOL DATM01-96-R-0008 DUE 062796 POC Contract Specialist Elizabeth Arispe (817) 288-9280 Contracting Officer Theodore Panknin (817) 288-1305 (Site Code DATM01) The Government intends to issue an Request for Proposal (RFP) to purchase three sets of external modulation sources and delivered to the Automated Intelligence/Electronic Warfare Test System (AI/EWTS) at Fort Huachuca, AZ. AI/EWTS is an automated field instrumentation systems which replicates threat communication transmitters providing targets signals for testing U.S. intercept and direction finding systems. The external modulation sources will be a combination of an arbitrary waveform generator (AWS) and a vector signal generator with modulation source inputs. The output of the combination will be +3 dBm at 250 MHz to drive the frequency translation subsystem of the current AI/EWTS transmitter. The AWS and signal generator will be controlled over and receive waveform data through an IEEE-488 interface from the on-board controller (RMG). All responsible sources may submit an offer.
