NAWCAD (Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division), St. Inigoes, Maryland, has a requirement for aluminum Drop-In Communication Packages (DICP) being procured for installation on Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) to support the Tactical Radio Systems (TRS) Program. Equipment will be utilized for environmental protection of various military transceivers within RIB. Drop-In Communication Packages shall be extremely durable and resistant to brackish water that may cause corrosion (In accordance with SOW and SPECS). The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed-Price contract (Estimated Base Year(FY97)=40 each; Estimated Option Year 1(FY98)=20 each; and Estimated Option Year 2(FY99)=20 each).
