REGAN, Contracting Officer, (412) 365-5440 Architectural Engineering Services are required to constructa new open-air parking facility on the grounds of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center #646, University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA., 15240. (Within the area presently used as existing parking lots numbered 7 and 8). This site is located in the southwesterly corner of the Medical Center property and is bounded to the south of University Drive ''C'' and to the west by the Medical Center property line. The new structure as designed/constructed will provide a concrete slab on grade for surface parking and three levels of open-air elevated parking. The structure's footprint totaling approximately 31,744 gross square feet will occupy the area presently known now as parking lots 7 and 8. Architect Engineers must have experience in parkingstructures. Architectural Engineering services are required for preparation of plans and specifications, phasing, cost estimates, and construction period services. Estimated cost of construction is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Area of consideration is within 75 miles of the University Drive VA Medical Center #646. Firms desiring consideration shall submit current SF-254 and SF-255 forms to the Contracting Officer no later than 6/24/96. Standard Industrial Classification Code for this acquisition is 8712.
