Description of content: Outline of planned revisions are as follows: 1. Strengthening of regulations concerning frontal collision tests; 2. Establishment of lateral collision tests; 3. Strengthening of regulations on brakes; 4. Strengthening of regulations on large-sized rear bumpers; 5. Improving conspicuousness of two-wheeled motor vehicles; 6. Review of vehicle size for mini-sized vehicles. 7. Objective and rationale: To secure road vehicles safety. 8. Relevant documents: The basic law is Road Vehicles Act. This revision will appear in ``KAMPO'' (Official Government Gazette) when adopted. 9. Proposed date of adoption: August 1996 at earliest.
