Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform dockside repairs including but not limited to the following minimum items: (1) Inspect & renew structural components in the fan space, (2) Renew watertight and weathertight doors, (3) Renew hydraulic piping and fittings, (4) Replace VHF-FM Cables, (5) Renew portions of ventilation systems, (6) Flush chill water piping system and boiler water sides, (7) Renew swing check valves, (8) Renew duplex sea strainers, (9) Overhaul centrifugal pumps and associated motors, (10) Renew pipe penetrations, (11) Renew joiner bulkhead panels, (12) Erect mast staging, (13) Clean and inspect sewage and grey water collection and holding tanks, (14) Renew main deck overhead insulation, (15) Provide temporary berthing, (16) Provide Temporary Logistics, etc. Indefinite items include but are not limited to the following: (1) Provide additional temporary logistics. (2) Welding Repairs, (3) Ultrasonic Testing, etc. Vessel availability schedule is 15 Oct 96 for 21 days. Vessel length is 180 Foot SLE``P'' Class Seagoing Bouy Tender. The vessel homeport is Atlantic Beach, NC. This availability will be performed at Coast Guard Industrial, Portsmouth, VA. A charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at building 400N, Governors Island, NY. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and Specifications will be issued on or after 01 Jul 96 from our new office locations. After 01 Jun 96 our new address will be Commander (v), Maintenance & Logistics Command, Atlantic, 300 East Main Street Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract.
