ICF Kaiser Hanford Company (ICF KH) is soliciting Expressions of Interest (EOI) to prepare a complementary estimate of the current salvage value of the boilers, auxiliary equipment, piping, wiring, and other contents of an existing coal fired steam generation facility originally constructed in 1947 on the Hanford Site, Richland, Washington. ICF KH is planning to demolish and dispose of the steam generation facility during FY 1997 as part of the Department of Energy's Project Hanford Clean up. The current market salvage value is needed to supplement evaluation criteria to be used in determining which of three (3) methods should be utilized by ICF KH for demolition and disposal of the subject facility. More than one opinion of the current market salvage value is desired. Respondents to this EOI will receive a two (2) page, typed list of the equipment and other pertinent information on which to base their estimate. Site visitation is not required nor available. Estimates are needed by June 14, 1996. Respondents will not be issued a contract, will not be paid for their services nor will they be held accountable for the accuracy or reliance ICF KH places on the estimates. Respondents will be eligible to submit a proposal in response to any solicitation issued by ICF KH resulting from this EOI, and will automatically be issued a solicitation package, if any, at no cost to the respondent.
